Have you ever wondered why we don’t get sick as often during the summer months? Could it be because of the sun? We are not outside as often during the colder months and therefore we are not getting enough of that sunshine vitamin D that is so helpful for our immune systems.

Vitamin D may also be good for:

Calcium absorption

Joint pain

Depression

Heart

Immune System

Phosphatidylserine or PS

PS has been widely studied as an important supplement that can help with age-related memory decline. It can also help with memory loss, learning and concentration. The foods that contain PS are: egg yolks, organ meats, and peanut butter.

Also helpful for:

Stress

Anxiety

Muscle Fatigue

Are you feeling tired, developing belly fat, can’t sleep, exhausted most of the time, and have muscle pain? You might be suffering from adrenal burnout!

Our bodies were designed to have the adrenal glands produce the hormone of cortisol when we were faced with danger. The high stress that many of us face in our daily lives, can cause havoc on our adrenal glands. These daily stresses can cause an over-production of the hormone cortisol. Eventually, the adrenals become exhausted and unable to produce enough cortisol for our daily energy.

When women reach menopause, and the ovaries stop producing hormones, the adrenal glands take over. We make a very small amount of progesterone in the adrenals, but the body may use it to make cortisol. Using natural, bio-identical pre-measured progesterone to offset what the adrenals might take, can be extremely beneficial.
